Privacy Policy

Last updated May 6, 2026.

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Fintech Secure Vault ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit our website, create an account, or use the Services. By using the Services you agree to the practices described below.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. Name, email address, password (stored hashed), preferred display currency, and any KYC documents you choose to submit.
  • Wallet information. The wallet provider you connected, the public address you linked, and the chain it belongs to. We never collect or store private keys, seed phrases, or signing material.
  • Transaction information. Deposits, withdrawals, swaps, leverage positions, and yield credits you generate on the platform.
  • Technical information. IP address, device type, browser, operating system, approximate location derived from IP, and usage events such as page visits and clicks.
  • Communications. Messages you send to support and any feedback or surveys you complete.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
  • To verify your identity, prevent fraud, and comply with anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorism, and sanctions laws.
  • To process deposits, withdrawals, swaps, and yield accruals.
  • To send you transactional emails (verification, deposit credited, withdrawal sent, password reset).
  • To communicate product updates, security advisories, and legal notices.
  • To improve the Services, debug issues, and analyse usage patterns in aggregate.
  • To enforce our Terms and protect the rights and safety of other users.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation or similar laws apply, we process personal data on these legal bases: performance of a contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, and your consent (which you can withdraw at any time).

5. How we share information

We never sell your personal data. We share information only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the platform, including our hosting, transactional email, and price-data partners. They process data on our behalf under written contracts.
  • Compliance partners for KYC, AML, and sanctions screening when required.
  • Law enforcement and regulators when we are legally compelled, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We may also use first-party analytics cookies to measure usage. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may break parts of the Services.

7. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information: HTTPS in transit, hashed passwords, encrypted backups, restricted access on a need-to-know basis, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality. Notify us immediately at support@fintechsecurevault.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

8. Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. After closure, we retain identification and transaction records for the period required by applicable financial-services and tax laws, typically five to seven years. We may retain anonymised analytics indefinitely.

9. Your rights

Subject to your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy in a portable format.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to records we are required to keep.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@fintechsecurevault.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed in jurisdictions other than the one you live in, including by service providers based in the United States, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms to protect your data during transfer.

11. Children

The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a banner in the app at least seven days before they take effect.
